Dublin bound train leaves
Claremorris on 10th May 2003 The remains of tracks severed in April 2003 to Tuam and Galway can be seen veering right.
![]() Prior to making its 390th empty 12 mile run to Manulla junction since the New Year. The train must travel three times a day from Manulla to Claremorris so that the locomotive can runaround its train so as to be at the front for the return journey. Though Manulla is a staffed station it has not the basic facilities for such a simple shunt. | Maps | About WOT | Archive | History | Links | | Photo Gallery| Burma Road Gallery 1981| | Inspection of the Western Rail Corridor | Further Information Email rail @ westontrack.com or ring Tel: 1890 946 200
